A Poem For You

A poem for you,
a quiet serenade of the soul;
for yours.
For you,sitting alone,
despondent and detached;
for your hurting soul.
I'll sit with you
under the stars,
and speak of how we
should join them
and leave the world behind.
We'll speak of worlds
much different than our own.
Only we have the power
to change our own.
